Freemasonry is a fraternal organization dedicated to making good men better.
Our lodge motto is “Esse Quam Videri“, meaning “To be, rather than to seem”. We hold ourselves and our brothers to a high standard. As iron sharpens iron, so a good man will strengthen and support other good men.

Brotherly Love
As Masons, we are taught “to regard the whole human species as one family” and that we are to aid and support one another in all good causes. It is on this principle that Freemasonry unites men of every country, sect, and opinion, and conciliates true friendship among those who might otherwise have remained at a perpetual distance.
Relief
To help those in distress is a duty incumbent on all people, but particularly Masons. We are taught to soothe the unhappy, sympathize with the unfortunate and to have compassion for all. To restore peace is the great aim we have and on this basis we form all our friendships and establish our connections.
Truth
Truth is a divine attribute and the foundation of every virtue. To be good and true is the very first lesson we are taught in Masonry. We are regulate our conduct so that hypocrisy and deceit are unknown among us and sincerity and plain-dealing distinguish us.
